After the successful production of the first presentation display for Gigaset Communication GmbH, the second project involved a sales display to highlight Gigaset products in stores of the German home improvement chain, Bauhaus.

 

 

Scope of tasks:

To cooperate with Bauhaus, Gigaset had a short-term need for a sales display to highlight its "Intelligent Living" products in all German Bauhaus stores.  

 

Objective:

Our task was to create, produce and ship a display that would meet the following requirements for optimal POS placement:

  • Digital presentation of sales theme
  • “Intelligent Living” product presentation
  • Literature display for information material
  • Targeted appeal with CI display
  • Shelf space for sales packages

 

Implementation:

Following a preliminary customer specification, we developed a multifunctional display within a week for presentation to Gigaset. 150 units of the digital sales displays were produced at our Cologne site within 4 weeks and were shipped to all Bauhaus stores in Germany in time to match the company's promotional print advertising campaign.

This process generated a highly noticeable digital presentation display for Gigaset products that offers customers a haptic experience. Touching was to be expressly invited, as Gigaset wanted customers to handle its products to experience their high-value “made in Germany” quality.

 

Award:  

On November 5, during the viscom trade fair for visual communication in Düsseldorf, the presentation display was awarded a prize in the category of product displays made mainly of metal and is now rightly called WINNER of the display SUPERSTAR 2015 BRONZE prize. Among the selection panel members were marketing and product managers, marketing decision makers from industry and commerce, product designers, engineers, and brand owners.
