Coca-Cola wanted a new bottle rack that had to be stable, space-saving, and versatile, while featuring an appealing design.

Coca-Cola Company is a leading global manufacturer of non-alcoholic beverages. Its bestselling products Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite and Fanta are among the world's "top five" non-alcoholic carbonated beverages.

 

Scope of tasks:

Coca-Cola Germany contacted us with some draft ideas for a special presentation of its 1.5 and 2 litre Coca-Cola bottles as well as of 0.5 and 0.75 litre VIO drink bottles with a request for implementation.

 

Objective:

The beverage manufacturer expects these specially produced bottle racks to result in increased sales of the brands Coca-Cola (1.5 and 2 litre bottles) and VIO (0.5 and 0.75 litres). The purpose of the racks is to promote the products in high-exposure positions outside of the customary positioning in beverage aisles.

 

Implementation:

After producing several visualizations, we settled on a design with the customer and created a prototype. This was followed by producing the small rack in series. By now we have shipped about 10,000 units. 

The bottle racks are made of curved and welded steel with a durable powder coating.
