Ubisoft, the game software producer, requested a display for digital promotion with merchandise presentation.
Ubisoft Entertainment S. A. is a game developer and publisher from France, which is known for its games such as Watch Dogs or the Assassin’s Creed series.
Scope of tasks:
To launch a part of the Assassin's Creed series, the customer required a display that would play both digital images/videos and serve as a direct merchandise presentation surface.
Objective:
Combining the display of moving images with a product dispenser was intended to get customers interested in Ubisoft products. At the same time, we wanted to test whether this digital signage display would increase the sales figures for the game.
Implementation:
Once we had generated design sketches and a prototype column, a quick decision was made to produce the digital signage displays after consultation with Ubisoft and its media agency. During a first phase, we shipped 35 units to electronics retail markets (MediaMarkt, Saturn, Expert).
